These are a series of photographs taken for a book project. In this book, I dove into the darkness/emptiness and the lack of self I have felt throughout my life. I attempted to portray my emotions through these images. Even though in these photos, the face is obstructed or distorted one can still understand what the figure is feeling. I ultimately named this project Find the Light 2023 as I have been searching for a glimpse of hope, a sliver of light, and in the end I found one but it was an artificial light, one that I created. But does that mean it's not real?
